カナダのシンガーソングライター／ダンサーのAbønと国際的に活動するボーカリストhisakaは2018年夏カナダのトロントで出会った。
Abønはカナダのアカペラコーラスグループ「The Willows」のメンバーでアレンジャー、コンポーザーとして活動している。今回彼女の初ソロプロジェクトとして、hisakaとのコラボレーションが実現した。全く別の場所でそれぞれの音楽を奏で、生活も異なる２人のVocalistが国境、言語、音楽を超えて重なり合った。彼女たちが一緒にオリジナル曲”Tundra”を作ることは不思議と難しいことではなかった。お互いの個性が混じり合いピュアでオリジナリティ溢れる新しい世界を表現している。彼女たちの歌から言語の壁を越えたハーモニーを楽しんで欲しい。
Abøn, a Canadian-born singer, songwriter and dancer, met Japanese vocalist “hisaka” in Toronto, Canada during the summer of 2018. Although their backgrounds, language and culture differed, Abøn and hisaka seemed to align not only through music, but through their characters and values as well. Their voices together created an original, pure and beautiful sound through their first collaboration of ‘Tundra’. Combining the Japanese and English language was something Abøn had always wanted to pursue, and now meeting hisaka has brought this bilingual harmony to life.
